Happy Birthday Hollie and Other Topics

Image
I want to give a big "Happy Birthday" to fellow blogging mama Hollie. She is the amazing author of Mordern Colors Blog. This mama of one is celebrating her 28th birthday today. Stop by her page and wish her a happy birthday! Happy birthday Hollie! Stay amazing and we love you! <3 I love my hubby so so so much! A fun fact about me: I use Nat Geo magazines occasionally for inspiration while I am painting. Most of my magazines were stolen out of my art room in high school lol and needless to say, are falling apart. Lon knows this and bought me a new magazine the other night on the way home from work. Ooooooh its so pretty! I love the quality of National Geographic's photos and pages! *Gush* Thanks again baby! I wanted to take a quick moment to wish safe travels to my mother, my sister and her dance studio while they are on their way to Ogden, Utah for a competition and workshop. Love you girls, rock the competition and take lots of pictures! I know you girls can do ...

Saint Patrick's Day Plans

Saint Patrick's Day is on a Saturday this year, and is a somewhat special day for Lon and I. Not only is it the holiday but it is our two year anniversary of being married by common law. We are pretty excited about this, and thus have some plans for the day. In the morning, we are going to the town's parade with Kelsie, Kelton, Chelsey and Colton. I am so excited to see these girls and their kiddos, and I know that Alan will love seeing the parade. Last year, we tried to go to it but I thought it was an hour later than it actually was lol. Fail! :P But this year, we are meeting the group nice and early so we can all walk down together and find a awesome viewing spot. After the parade, I am thinking about packing a simple lunch and taking Alan to a park for a picnic. I wanted to do this today but didn't have the time to with all the housework and errands I had to do. But I think we will try Sacajawea Park, since we have been to Pioneer and Rose recently. Then I will put ...

Alan's Second Birthday Party Plans

Image
Alan's birthday is in less than two months, ahhhh that's too soon! This time last year was when I started thinking about birthday parties for him, so I guess its time to do that now. Even though I don't want to. I'm still in denial that Alan will be two. As much as I love that he is a big boy and is growing up so quickly, the mom in me wants my sweet little newborn back. I loved Alan as a baby, he was so sweet and happy and easy. My mom always teased me that I was silly for getting stressed out, because I had the easiest baby ever. :P Not to say that I don't love him now, I love how smart and happy he is. I just am having some issues with my beautiful baby boy growing up. :) But I will take you along with me on my thought process for what I want to do for his birthday. I promise I haven't even thought of it before this, everything is fresh and new lol! :P So enjoy this fun brainstorm!!! We don't have a lot of money right now, so I don't think we ...
