Free Range Family

Today was another rainy day for us. It seems to be that way a lot lately, but you will not hear me complaining ONCE . I love the rain, it cleanses and nourishes and brings about life. I love watching the rain fall and seeing the beautiful, bright GREEN vegetation outside. Its almost like they are singing so happily about the rain, oh I love it! Don't hate lol, its just the hippie in me! I can't help it! Lately, Alan has been acting wilder and wilder while we are at home during the day and I am trying to clean. I do my best to take him outside everyday and to keep his interest sparked as much as possible throughout the day, but its hard. I found a great idea that should help me do this and encourage him to keep himself entertained too. Its called the Boredom Box and I suggest every "stay at home kid" has one! So if you remember from my post yesterday, we all went to get Lon's Cadillac checked out before I went in to work. I was a little anxious about having to wait in their lobby with Alan, for however long it took them to change the oil and such. Plus, I forgot to mention this but I was also worried about Lon's car. During our trip to Great Grandpa Andersen's Ranch, the Cadillac started reporting 0% battery voltage or something to that effect. Can you tell I know nothing about cars???? :P Thank goodness for Lon. But... Luckily there is nothing wrong with his car... kinda! Only his sensors and the computer are malfunctioning, but everything else is in perfect running condition! The mechanic even gave us the approval to take it up to Helena for the fourth. Yes! :) And we got lucky with Alan as well! I am super exhausted from today! We just got home for the first time since like ten this morning and I am just beat!! :) My feet are killing me and I feel like I carried twenty men, instead of just one toddler. I could very well possibly be sunburnt. And Alan? He's still running laps around me lol. Ahhhhhh, where does all that energy come from???? :D We did have such a wonderful day today though! This was quoted from a close friend of mine, Korbin's mother Erica, on Tuesday. Ever since I have been a child, I have heard how Montana is stuck in a drought. I've heard it from my grandpa, a rancher and farmer, and my dad, an avid outdoorsman, as well as many various people. Now I don't know if this drought is a real drought, or a fictional mind block in the majority of Montanans lmao... (Just poking fun here, I don't need any offensive comments on this post).
