Alan and Anna recently went to the dentist for their biannual checkup. They go to Legacy Smiles and see Dr. Stuart there. He and his staff are just wonderful! They are so kind, so helpful, the kids just love them! Alan and Anna enjoy going and seeing their dentist and his sweet staff! :) I could be biased because Dr. Stuart is one of my good friends' fathers lol, but he is still just wonderful! It wasn't just any ordinary trip to the dentist though, oh no! It was Miss Anna's first time at the dentist! Now Anna doesn't quite have all of her baby teeth yet, she is still missing her canines and her two year old molars. But Dr. Stuart told us to bring her in regardless. :) The wonderful dental assistant showed Alan and Anna all the dental tools right away, so that Anna wouldn't be nervous. But missy was very brave! I apologize for not posting yesterday, as you can imagine I was pretty busy with the whole dentist ordeal. Alan was sedated (for the first time) and had several cavities filled. Due to his age, he had to be put under almost completely with a shot and an IV. I was quite a nervous wreck but he did pretty good. I stayed in the waiting room with Anna and Lon went back with Alan. Alan sat in Lon's lap and played his Wreck it Ralph app and was given a quick shot in the right shoulder. Alan immeadiately freaked out about the pain and then started freaking out about the way his body felt. It sounded quite bad from the waiting room but Lon said it was not as bad as it sounded. He was able to calm him down enough and Alan snuggled up into Lon right before falling asleep fully. They then had Lon come out with us so they could start the IV and begin surgery. I apologize for not posting recently, this may sound weird but its been too hot for me to be motivated to post. Its too hot for me to do much of anything right now lol, its been in the high 90s for the past two weeks! I am so overheated by the time I am done with the day, I have no desire to do anything. Especially not a blog post. Sorry, I feel like I have been neglecting my readers! I have not indulged you on my Mother's Day! I had a wonderful Mother's Day. My children came and raided our bed nice and early, they were at least nice enough to snuggle and fall asleep quickly. Oh how I just LOOOOOOVE mornings like that! Lon made us eggs, bacon and toast for breakfast and I had a pedicure from the kids in the afternoon. Alan also made me an ADORABLE card with monsters on it. Love it! September is also another one of those birthday months for us lol. I know so many people who have children that were born in September, sometimes the same year but oftentimes different years too! It also is the beginning of fall, one of my favorite seasons of the year! Who am I kidding lol, EVERY season is my favorite season, it just depends on which season we are curently on! :P But I do just love fall and all that comes along with it. Here are some of the things we did this month! Being a part of the What to Expect group has its benefits, one of the main ones being all the empathy and support you recieve because you are venting to moms going through the exact same age. It is pretty late. Anna is up again cluster feeding before she falls asleep. I feel like she may sleep for longer than seven hours because she has eaten so much this past hour. So I figured I might as well do my Darling Dozen post for today. This is the twelfth and last week of the Darling Dozen. I simply cannot believe that Anna is already twelve weeks old and that in a little over a week she will be a three month old. Wow! She is just so big and so ready to be bigger, I joke that she is twelve weeks going on twelve months! She is so determined to sit up and crawl and move around like her big brother! Its amazing! So I have total mommy brain. Went to sub that art class yesterday and I expressed my excitement about finally having a birthday party tomorrow. My boss was instantly confused and after looking through our records, I realized that I was just crazy and had made up a fictional party in my head lol. No, my first birthday party is October sixth! Before I start with this story, I have a small favor to ask you readers. As most of you know, we are trying to move and will be moving by November at the latest. This morning Lon told me of another option for us to live in, one that seems like a very good idea. The whole thing is of course still up in the air, so I am asking you to send positive thoughts and energies our way so that we get this house! We will be looking at it either today or tomorrow, I cannot wait! If you pray, please say a prayer for our little family today. Today is Alan's friend Colton's real third birthday. If you remember, we went to his birthday party this weekend with Aunt April.
