The Grand Second Anniversary at Asian Sea Grill

Image
For our anniversary, I wanted to go somewhere new, exoctic and fun for dinner. We could not think of anywhere to go but after a bit, I decided to take Lon to one of my old favorites Bruno's Italian. Unfortunately, we got there way too late. They close around like 7 or 8, I totally forgot! Luckily, there was an Asian Sea Grill right next door! The perfect idea! We ordered salmon sushi for appetizers and a different udon noodle meal for each of us. Lon also ordered himself a Topeko sushi and four different types of sake. We definitely were adventurous with our dinner lol! The four types of sake Lon had were: Tozai Typhoon, Snow Maiden, Star Filled Sky, Tears of Dawn. The Snow Maiden was the coolest, it was very white while the rest were mostly clear. Lon drank all four in a very short time, yet says he did not feel much of anything lol. I got BOMBED the one time I tried sake and learned my lesson lol, so I could not believe that! :P But he enjoyed them very much!   Our f...

Meet Me on Monday!!

If you had to eat only one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Hmmmm, this is a hard one. I don't really have like "favorite foods" persay, but I guess if I had to pick one food I'd choose.... pizza lol. (This photo thanks to http://www.junkfoods.net) Lol, does that count? Cos let me explain my theory- My husband and I have both worked at pizza places for 5+ years, so we have gotten very used to living off of only pizza. I worked at Chuck E Cheese for five years, and Lon still works at the Village Inn and has for eight years now. And, my next arguement about pizza is the ingredients- if you get the proper ingredents, like a combo, there's a good variety of food on there aka something you could actually live off of. :) Now I am in no way saying people should live off of pizza lol, but if your situation is right (like ours is) then go for it lol! :P Do you write your blog posts in advance or the day you post them? It depends. If its a norm...

My sweet, beautiful Rosalie June...

Image
Today marks the four year anniversary of my miscarriage. I was about 15 weeks along and the doctors knew it was a girl. We had named her Rosalie June. <3 Everyday I think about her, and what it would be like if she were here. She would be around three and a half years old now. Wow that's incredible to think! *Sigh* Since its been four years and I've made my peace with her passing, I'm trying not to dwell on it too much on my blog today. I still ask everyone to light a candle and say a prayer (in whatever religion you follow) for my daughter. I believe her soul exists still out there, and she is happy to see how far I have come. I love her so very much and know that she will always be a part of my life. <3 Rest in Peace Rosalie June Kimmel December 18, 2006

Today we remember...

Today is Worldwide Pregnancy/Infant Loss Awareness Day. Please take the time to remember and support all who is affected by pregnancy/infant loss, as they often do not get a lot of support. Losing a child or even a pregnancy is one of the worst things that a woman could go through, yet the majority of women have gone through it in some way and don't receive any comfort. We must give them support and hope so that they can one day overcome their sadness and make peace with their loss. I remember you today my beloved Rosalie June, though I doubt I will ever forget you. I think about you everyday and wish you were here with Lon, Alan and I. I miss you so badly and love you with all of my heart. Lon and Alan love you endlessly also, even though they've never met you. Rest peacefully, my beautiful girl. <3 I also remember baby Ewan Eliezer, who earned his Angel Wings October 4th (my husband's birthday, that's so much sadder!) as a result of CHD.  I have never met you o...
