With the Winter Olympics starting this week, I just thought that I would update everyone on my little gymnast Olympians! Anna started gymnastics with Mommy last week, I was so proud! I haven't had the chance to take a SINGLE photo of the class lol. Our first class together, Anna was overwhelmed by all the different things and the huge-ness of the gymnasium. She wanted to join in with the older class and never wanted to participate in what her class was currently participating in. However this week, she did so much better! She loved class and participated in everything! I was so happy for her! It has been artic weather here in Billings this week, highs of -5 degrees lol. Its supposed to be even colded later on this week! We have been stuck inside, its by far too cold for little toddlers to be playing outside. September is also another one of those birthday months for us lol. I know so many people who have children that were born in September, sometimes the same year but oftentimes different years too! It also is the beginning of fall, one of my favorite seasons of the year! Who am I kidding lol, EVERY season is my favorite season, it just depends on which season we are curently on! :P But I do just love fall and all that comes along with it. Here are some of the things we did this month! Being a part of the What to Expect group has its benefits, one of the main ones being all the empathy and support you recieve because you are venting to moms going through the exact same age. I love my WTE mamas! This of course means that I know a ton of people born in September and alot of them are the same age as Alan. So we celebrated so many birthdays this month, it was crazy! So part of me being positive about life and myself is reminding myself of things that I love and/or things that have blessed me. I found this blog hop today on A Babbling Brunette's blog while I was checking up on my Toddler Talk Tuesday link. Its the perfect thing I need! So starting this week, I will share with you what I am loving! Enjoy! I'm loving teaching my students hip hop twice a week instead of the usual once a week. Makes it alot easier for the younger ones to remember the steps thus learning. Yes! I'm loving that I get to spend the majority of my day with my children still. On aveage, I work maybe three times a week for two and a half hours each time? That is nothing compared to most people. I definitely feel blessed. :) I'm loving that breastfeeding is going so well for Anna and I. She is a natural and it has made life so much easier on me! For Alan's birthday, we made him cupcakes. We were originally going to make him a cake but my cake pan had seen better days and so I decided to put it to rest rather than use it one last time. I was going to borrow my mother's but forgot until that day so we were out of luck. Alan was convinced that he did not want cupcakes but that was about all we had, except for a square brownie pan that he was not going for either. To convince him to use the cupcake tins we had, I decided to be creative and bake them without papers and call them mini cakes. Alan just loved the idea so we used it. Happy Friday everyone! Last night, my mom and I took the kids to the Fair again. Alan went on several rides with Uncle Kalvin, his friend Kale and I while Anna snuggled with Grandma Melanie. We got to see several people that we know and we had a great time. I will post more about that later because we might be going again for the rodeo tonight.
