Today we are trying to figure out a playdate with someone or maybe just Grandma and Uncle Kalvin. Who knows? We just really need to get out of this house lol!   Here is this week's Darling Dozen post (only three more left after this one! Sob!)! Meet Me on Monday!! May 23, 2011

Yesterday was a great day for us. We spent the day hanging out together as a family and then went over to my parent's house for dinner. We decided to not go anywhere in the car yesterday, so we walked to and from Grandma's house. For dinner there, we had fajitas. Yum! They were so good and even Alan ate some! :) Good day altogether. This week I work my usual 40 hours and then Saturday is a childhood friend's baby shower and Sunday is Kari's graduation party. I'm not too excited for the work week, but can't wait for the weekend lol! After co-sleeping with us last night (which resulted in me getting zero sleep), this morning Alan woke up the earliest he has ever woken up: at 6:30 AM! But today is payday for me, which means its really everyone else's payday and not mine lol because all of my money is already being sent off. Blah gotta love adult hood. :P For now though, here's Meet Me on Monday!! What is your favorite bagel flavor? Lol we had bag...

Thoughts on this week... (with art class information!!)

So its midweek and while everyone else is busy (Lon is doing the therapy thing :D and Alan is having lunch next to me in his highchair) I'd like to take a moment to reflect on how this week is going for me and the family.  Art class yesterday was good. There was supposed to be five students total, but only one other kid showed up besides Alan. That made for a more private class though, which was nice. The theme for this month is Famous Artists and Springtime. Yesterday's projects were Pablo Picasso Cubism Faces, Pipe Cleaner Flowers, and Easter Bunny Drawing. Lon helped Alan with the harder parts of each project but Alan pretty much colored, drew, cut and glued all on his own. :) His projects turned out great too! We had a very good time together overall (and we always do). I didn't get any photos, but I haven't figured out how to upload them from my cell phone anyways. I always seem to have people searching for information about my art and birthday party programs o...

Once again, I feel like the week just blew by! How does this continue to happen to me lol??? Oh wait, I know how... Because I'm a mom! :) My life has been crazy busy this week too. We've started potty training Alan, yesterday was Lon and I's anniversary, its that time of the month to pay bills, I had to go pick up my wedding dress and shoes from the steamer's, Lon's tooth is still hurting him so we had to take him back into the dentist, my car broke down so we're taking it to the shop and with all of that, I also have my art classes to teach and the rest of my job to work. Blah we are running around like crazy from dawn to dusk this week! That's okay though lol, at least it got us through the week fast and now I'm ready for the weekend!  This weekend we hope to get Alan outside a bunch (he loves this warm weather!) and do some spring cleaning around the apartment. You can totally tell we've been stuck inside here all winter with cabin fever, its a ...
