Free Range Family

Aunt Natalie and Benton came to town for a visit this weekend. Aunt April and I had to try on our bridesmaid dresses for her wedding and we had to get shoes too. Plus, they mostly just wanted to see us now instead of next month lol. But it was awesome! We went out to dinner, took Benton to Chuck E Cheese for the first time, got our dresses and our shoes for the wedding, visited both great grandparents in town and went to the mall. The kids had a wonderful three days together. They all enjoy each other so much too! What a great little group of kids! The first thing I had to do when I saw him was snuggle! I had worked all day long and just wanted to chill with my boy! I had missed him so, it had been since October when we had last seen them! I needed some Benton and Auntie time bad. :) He has gotten so big too! I seriously cannot believe how much he has grown up since I last saw him! Please be warned, I have been so behind on posts with being sick this week, that this post is all photos lol. Its a literal photo dump. :P So bear with me lol! Last week, I took the kids to the park by Grandma Amber's house to play while we waited for Lon to get off of work. Silly Miss Anna fell asleep on the ride over, so I let her nap in the car while I hung out on the trunk and watched Alan play. It was so darn nice out! My only wish was that I had brought a book to read, otherwise it was just so perfect! Anna napped the whole time too, so it was just Alan playing solo. He loved it! I think he likes time alone without his baby sister, he loves her but he does like to be on his own too. He is growing up so much each day! Its crazy! Today is Aunt April's fifteenth birthday. Gotta love the model status with a sombero lol I still can remember my mom being pregnant with her, I remember the day she was born, I even remember the first day she can home. April has been a wild spitfire since Day One! She gave Nat and I a run for our money as big sisters lol! She is a feisty, determined little lady! I know that with all of her hardwork and dedication, one day April will be doing something great. In the dance world or otherwise, she is definitely going to make people talk. She isn't just an amazing person, she is a wonderful aunt! Anna and Alan just adore her, they love to play with her and annoy her lol. They are great buddies too, especially Miss Anna and her. Anna's favorite thing to do is help Aunt April do her hair and make up. She is isn't the most helpful but Aunt April stilll works well with her lol. :) Ah they love her! I totally missed last month's post on Anna! Gah! :/ I cannot believe that I did that lol, gosh I have been so scatterbrained lately! Oh well, when my computer mouse is fixed I will ammend that! Darn! I cannot believe that she is almost two though! Its crazy! She has grown up so much, talks up a storm, and always wants to do everything her brother does. This kid! Unfortunately, little miss and her brother are sick with stomach bugs. Anna has had it since Saturday night and Alan just woke up with it this morning. They have bad tummy aches and cannot keep anything but liquids done. My poor kiddos! :/ This week is a big week for my gymnastics classes, I hate that my kids also have to be sick! Darn! Alan and Anna's gymnastics school is pretty awesome, they theme their weeks so each week is something new and different! I love it and I know they do too! :) This week's theme was the circus, obviously because the circus had just been to town lol. The kids loved it! It included the dog bouncy house, the parachute, and two trapeze swings! It was so cool! Miss Anna's class obviously didn't play with the last few things, but they did get to play in the bouncy house. She was too scared to go in the bouncy house this time though lol, she just hung outside and "helped" her friends get inside lol. She finally went in once with her friends lol, the last time everyone went in lol! She is just so silly! We have had such a crazy weekend! Well technically a crazy Sunday lol, Saturday I worked and Alan had his first soccer scrimage. So not too crazy lol... But Sunday was our big family fun day together! I just loved every second of it! :) Special thanks to my mom for inviting us along for the fun! The kids had an absolute blast! We started out our fun at Chuck E. Cheese. We had pizza for lunch their with my mom and brother. Then we played some games and went on some rides together. Alan and Anna didn't want to eat with all the exciting commotion going around us, but by some miracle I got them to eat some salad and a slice each. Then we were off playing! Alan went with me first, so he could play some big kid games. But Anna only let him play alone with me for so long lol, she got jealous fast. Silly girl!
