Happy June everyone! It officially is only a month away until Miss Anna's first birthday and I am frankly in denial some. But not as much as I am about my own upcoming birthday, I didn't even realize it was about two months away now! Wow, time really does go by too fast!! Happy Summer everyone! Here is May's Month in Review. Enjoy! I didn't post too much this month, we were quite busy with family! We started out the month of May like we always do, with Uncle Kalvin and Aunt Natalie's birthdays. We celebrated Uncle Kalvin's birthday at the local bowling alley and had a Disco Bowling Party! How was your April? We had a decent April. A lot of important things were figured out and we celebrated lots of milestones for this family. Here is what I wrote about: There was a few birthdays this month and also our wedding anniversary. We were very busy with all of our celebrations! We started out the month celebrating Uncle Tyler's birthday. He turned 27 this year. We had Aunt Sam and him over for birthday dinner at our house. Then was Aunt April's 14th birthday. The kids and I took her shopping for her birthday. We had a lot of fun! Nataional Siblings Day was a few days later, I sent my awesome siblings some love. Then I celebrated my blogging friend Hollie's birthday online.  As well as my good friend Chelsey's 24th birthday. A couple of my girlfriends and I took her out for drinks that night. September is also another one of those birthday months for us lol. I know so many people who have children that were born in September, sometimes the same year but oftentimes different years too! It also is the beginning of fall, one of my favorite seasons of the year! Who am I kidding lol, EVERY season is my favorite season, it just depends on which season we are curently on! :P But I do just love fall and all that comes along with it. Here are some of the things we did this month! Being a part of the What to Expect group has its benefits, one of the main ones being all the empathy and support you recieve because you are venting to moms going through the exact same age. I love my WTE mamas! This of course means that I know a ton of people born in September and alot of them are the same age as Alan. So we celebrated so many birthdays this month, it was crazy! We had a fantastic month this August! I loved being able to stay home with my beautiful and amazing children this month, I am so blessed! I wrote about quite a bit this month compared to the last few, only because I was mostly homebound. Our family jokes that August is the month we take a break from all the birthdays in July lol. :) And I really didn't mind at all, I really enjoyed being able to experience every moment of my children's lives. How wonderful that truly is! Check out what we did this month! There weren't too many birthdays, holidays or anniversaries this month. The 25th was Alan's good buddy Kelton's third birthday. We went to his Spiderman themed birthday and had a total blast! :) It was great seeing all my childhood friends and their kids too. I miss you guys! July was an exciting month for my family! Several babies were born into the family, including Miss Anna. We had a handful of birthdays and big events happen as well. Here is what happened this month: The first of the month meant my nephew Connor's second birthday party. Then Anna was born on the seventh, weighing a healthy 6 pounds and 13 ounces. Less than a week after Anna was born, Aunt Ariel turned twelve years old.  This month was also Alan and Anna's cousin Fayth's first birthday, but unfortunately due to the heat we weren't able to go to her birthday party. Then it was my birthday, and we went to the Oasis Water park to celebrate. The day afterward was Grandma Melanie's birthday. My cousin's wife had her son Joshua 22 days after Anna was born. I announced this month that I would not be posting as much this week, due to the closeness of my delivery date. Even though I didn't post too much, we still did quite a lot this month. Here is some of the stuff that we did: June meant the five year anniversary of my daughter Rosalie's birthdate. To celebrate, Alan and I made cupcakes for her and released five pink balloons to the heavens. It was a beautiful moment for us. :) We also celebrated Alan's friend Tatum's third birthday by going to her Hawaiian themed party. Then there was cousin Sophie's second birthday party at Pioneer Park. Alan and Kalvin had a blast playing in the wading pool there. We also made Lon's Father's Day a very special day for him as well. It was also the start of summer, so we spent lots of time outside doing fun new activities. Preparing for a new baby in the house makes for one busy month! Its been almost three years since I have done all this, I forgot how much work it entailed lol. Plus with all the other stuff we did and Lon working his two jobs like a maniac, it felt like May just flew by for my family. Here is some of the stuff we did: Three of my siblings had birthdays this month. Uncle Kalvin turned eight years old on the fourth of May and we went to the Reef for his birthday party. Aunt Natalie's twentieth birthday was the next day, on Cinco de Mayo. We went out to Dos Machos to celebrate her birthday. Lastly, Uncle Darren's 24th birthday on the 10th. I haven't seen him our my nephew Connor yet to celebrate with him, but we hope to see them soon! :D Mother's Day was also this month, May 13th. We had a somewhat busy month in April, with all the birthdays and anniversaries and the outdoor events. All in all, it was a good month for us. Here are some things that happened to us this month: The month started out with us celebrating two good school friends of Alan's birthdays. Easton and Treyton, the two brothers, invited us to their fun birthday party at Kid's Klubhouse. We had a blast! Then we celebrated Aunt April's thirteenth birthday with sunset baseball and an ice cream cake. That Sunday was also Easter, so Alan and I went on several Easter egg hunts and then spent the day with our family and loved ones. April 23 was also Lon and I's one year wedding anniversary. I can't believe its already been a whole year! Then we finished off the month celebrating Earth Day with my family and Arbor Day with a Tree Scavenger Hunt. I did these a lot last year and for some reason when I started blogging a ton again this December, I didn't continue them. But I enjoy doing Month in Reviews because its nice to re-cap my families activities of the past month as well as my thoughts on them. So I am planning on (hopefully lol) continuing to do them from now on, every month! Hooray! This month started out with us wishing Alan's friend Keanu a happy first birthday. We also had plans to celebrate Dr. Suess's birthday, most of which didn't work out. We still had a pretty good day that day though lol.
