Circus Week at Gymnastics

Image
Alan and Anna's gymnastics school is pretty awesome, they theme their weeks so each week is something new and different! I love it and I know they do too! :) This week's theme was the circus, obviously because the circus had just been to town lol. The kids loved it! It included the dog bouncy house, the parachute, and two trapeze swings! It was so cool! Miss Anna's class obviously didn't play with the last few things, but they did get to play in the bouncy house. She was too scared to go in the bouncy house this time though lol, she just hung outside and "helped" her friends get inside lol. She finally went in once with her friends lol, the last time everyone went in lol! She is just so silly! But she also didn't need any help from me while bouncing on the trampoline this week in class... she is growing up more and more each day! :) Here are some pictures from class this week! All by herself... When did she get so big? Trying to shake her hip to...

Our Weekend Adventures and A Very Happy Birthday to Uncle Tyler!

Image
We have had such a crazy weekend! Well technically a crazy Sunday lol, Saturday I worked and Alan had his first soccer scrimage. So not too crazy lol... But Sunday was our big family fun day together! I just loved every second of it! :) Special thanks to my mom for inviting us along for the fun! The kids had an absolute blast! We started out our fun at Chuck E. Cheese. We had pizza for lunch their with my mom and brother. Then we played some games and went on some rides together. Alan and Anna didn't want to eat with all the exciting commotion going around us, but by some miracle I got them to eat some salad and a slice each. Then we were off playing! Alan went with me first, so he could play some big kid games. But Anna only let him play alone with me for so long lol, she got jealous fast. Silly girl! Alan playing the rubber ducky game Anna had to do everything Alan did, play every game that he did lol. Alan was such a good sport and let her follow him around. He is serious...

Sunny Days are (Hopefully) Here to Stay!

Image
Dare I say it? Dare I say that spring is here? I am afraid that if I post it on here, tomorrow morning we may wake up to snow! Montana weather is just wild like that in March lol! Hopefully now that its almost April, we will finally be done with all the darn winter weather! Because even though I was raised a snow bunny, I am ready for spring and summer to be here! Today was gorgeous out! It was a chilly 32 degrees outside but the sun was out and shining! It felt wonderful compared to the awful cold days we have been having recently! I had to get the kids out in this amazing weather! So we left the front door open while we had lunch today, letting the nice fresh air and sun come in, then after lunch we went to the park to play until Lon was off of work! It was just fantastic! I couldn't decide if I wanted to go to Pioneer Park or Rose Park, so I asked Alan's opinion. He thought that Rose Park would be better and since it was in the area of where we were meeting up with Lon af...

Month in Review: April 2013

How was your April? We had a decent April. A lot of important things were figured out and we celebrated lots of milestones for this family. Here is what I wrote about: There was a few birthdays this month and also our wedding anniversary. We were very busy with all of our celebrations! We started out the month celebrating Uncle Tyler's birthday. He turned 27 this year. We had Aunt Sam and him over for birthday dinner at our house. Then was Aunt April's 14th birthday. The kids and I took her shopping for her birthday. We had a lot of fun! Nataional Siblings Day was a few days later, I sent my awesome siblings some love. Then I celebrated my blogging friend Hollie's birthday online.  As well as my good friend Chelsey's 24th birthday. A couple of my girlfriends and I took her out for drinks that night. It was one of the first times since I got pregnant with Anna! Speaking of Miss, Anna also turned nine months old, along with that came a new desire to stand on he...

Belated Birthdays, Dance Competition and the Circus

Image
I usually always love the weekend. Lon is off most weekends, as are my family and friends. I only have to host parties at my work, which is really fun. And I always try to take the kids to do something fun. This weekend though was exceptionally awesome and fantastic! My family and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Friday night, I went out with some of my friends for two of their birthdays. My friend Kelsie and I had missed both DesiRae and Chelsey's birthdays last month so we took them out for dinner and drinks. Chelsey's best friend Nichole and her fiance came too. She was Chelsey's maid of honor and I knew her from all of the wedding events. It was great to see her again. We were originally meeting at Buffalo Wild Wings but the wait was too long so we met up at a sportsbar instead. I was driving so I only treated myself to a caffienated drink this time. I never need alcohol to have fun anyways. :) I had a blast just being myself. Plus when I start to bore myself, even just a l...

Month in Review: September 2012

September is also another one of those birthday months for us lol. I know so many people who have children that were born in September, sometimes the same year but oftentimes different years too! It also is the beginning of fall, one of my favorite seasons of the year! Who am I kidding lol, EVERY season is my favorite season, it just depends on which season we are curently on! :P But I do just love fall and all that comes along with it. Here are some of the things we did this month! Being a part of the What to Expect group has its benefits, one of the main ones being all the empathy and support you recieve because you are venting to moms going through the exact same age. I love my WTE mamas! This of course means that I know a ton of people born in September and alot of them are the same age as Alan. So we celebrated so many birthdays this month, it was crazy! Here are the main ones I wrote about: Alan's third birthday was in the beginning of this month. He had an awesome Bubbl...

Our Recent Scare with Anna

I postponed posting anything about this until we knew what actually was going on with her. We are still not fully sure but it was diagnosed as a "false menstruation". But Anna is completely healthy and that is what is important. Friday morning, I changed Anna's diaper from the night before and there was blood in it. A decent amount, not enough for me to take her to the ER but any blood is enough to call her doctor. We set up an appointment for later that afternoon. I proceeded to worry my butt off. My mother-in-law called me and assured me it was only leukorrhea and she had went through the same thing with her daughter. We had her appointment scheduled at the west end clinic, about twenty minutes away from our house. I took both children with me, which was probably why I was about thirty minutes late lol. Thank goodness everybody knows me and my family so there was no offense taken. They were even helpful getting us inside when Alan had fallen asleep on the ride ...

The Circus, Birthdays and Baby Showers

Image
Our weekend was fantastic! We did not get to see Lon too much on Saturday as he worked all day and night but we did go to the Ringling Brothers circus and then to Colton's third birthday party. He had a Mickey party and his mama even tried to make a pinata for it! Homemade pinata with three children of her own? She rocks lol, even if she was not successful! I would not try that with my two lol! Then Sunday was my childhood friend Ali's baby shower. She is having a little boy and the party was themed "Baby Boy Toys". It was too cute!  We had so much fun this weekend! We saw a bunch of good friends and family, it was so nice to see everyone again. I love it when we can all get together and have our children play together. So cool! Now let me share a little information with you. One of my weird quirks is I am kinda obsessed with circuses and side shows and the such. Especially old time circuses! Oh I love everything about them! ...

The Darling Dozen: Week by Week! Eleventh Week

Image
Today is a busy day for my little family. We had the circus in the morning and then Alan's buddy Colton's birthday party in the afternoon. Alan was pretty excited, he woke up with the sun and has yet to stop talking about the circus or the party lol. He could not wait. :) Be sure to check back with us next week to see how it went! Here is the second to last Darling Dozen post we will do for Anna. *Sniffle* I cannot believe that she is a week away from being twelve weeks old and only a couple weeks from being three months old. How is that these past eleven weeks have gone by so fast? We are so blesses to have her in our life, what a wonderful little girl we have. Week: Eleventh Week Weight: 9 pounds and 6 ounces Height: 24 1/2 inches Diaper Size: She is still only size one. And they are just HUGE on her still! Clothing Size: She is still in between size Newborn and size 0-3M. This is probably her last week wearing them too so I went crazy and started...
