Free Range Family

How was everyone's Valentine's Day yesterday? Ours went great! Alan's little party had a very nice turnout, we all had a blast together! I will be sure to post about that sometime next week. I do not think that any of us took a single photo though lol, how silly are we! Lon surprised me with a dinner date to Applebee's KID FREE and then we went shopping for a movie (the new Judge Dredd, AWESOME), which was all awesome. I also got chocolates, yum! I am really picky about chocolates lol and he made a point to get me the PERFECT box of chocolates for me. Oh how I love him so much. He is just so perfect for me! Thanks baby! I am so very excited because Aunt Natalie and Uncle Jake are coming to town today! Yay! We have quite a bit we want to do with them here, I am just not sure what the exact plans are yet. But Alan has been asking for Aunt Natalie since he woke up lol. They are buds since he was born. :) We just cannot wait to see them! Have a safe trip here guys, ...

Our weekend wasn't too eventful, on Saturday I worked and then we went to the circus with my family and on Sunday we just hung out at home. I was supposed to get my haircut from my girlfriend Sarah, but she had to work instead. We rescheduled for this upcoming Sunday. :) We had a really great time at the circus Saturday night though! Alan and I went with my mother, Uncle Kalvin, Aunt April, second cousin Morgan and Kalvin's friend Casey. We saw my old manager from CEC Kelsey and a couple kids who I work with at the YMCA. The first half of the show started out with the tigers, which Alan was surprisingly not that into. Then there were some balancing acts and a hula hoop act,  where Alan was more interested in the lights lol. But once the puppies came out for their act, Alan was all eyes and ears lol, standing up and cheering along with the crowd. His favorite was the littlest one. :) There were a few more acts and then the brought out the motorcycle on the tight rope. Alan, ...

Happy Friday everyone! This weekend will be a good one, I only work in the morning and then I have a wedding to go to Saturday night. Alan, Lon and I will also be hanging out with the wonderful Tanya Eckles on Sunday! She's in town from Arizona and we love her!! If you had to choose, how would you prefer to choose to spend money...on landscaping or a pool? Most definitely a pool, I could landscape myself. So I still do not know what is up with The Undomestic Mama, but am at least grateful she posted again six days ago. For this week, we will be linking up with Oh Amanda at Top Ten Tuesday. Top Ten Favorite Zoo Animals I love going to the zoo, especially our zoo in Montana. :) So I thought that this would be a fun Top Ten to do today. We are hoping to go back to Zoo Montana asap, because Alan also enjoys it and they have the grizzly cubs now! Can't wait to see them! #10 Peacocks... Because they're obnoxious and ruin zoo garden weddings lol. :P My cousin had her wedding in the zoo gardens and during the ceremony, one of the male peacocks got really confrontational with the priest and was "ca-awing" at the bride and groom lol. Alan is doing tons better this morning, and only had one diarrhea blow out last night. He has two and a half hours left of his liquid diet, and he's no longer contagious after noon today. Unfortunately, that means that he will not be able to go to art class today. :\ But I'm just going to prepare him some "homework" so that he still gets his art projects for that week done. And I'm just thankful last night went billions of times better than Sunday night and that he's doing so much better today. He's starting to act like himself again, which makes me smile. :) Hopefully, he'll be able to go back to daycare by tomorrow. :) And now, for Top Two Tuesday!!
