Alan's Spring Gymnastics Showcase 2014

Image
Alan had his last gymnastics showcase of the year. Next year he will be in a new level, a new class, it was his last time with the 3/4 Gym Kids level skill. I think he did a wonderful job personally! :D I was very proud of my little man! My phone is at the end of its life, it won't let me do hardly anything anymore! :/ It won't let me post the videos but here are some photos from his showcase. Good job Alan! Mommy, Daddy and Anna love you and are so proud! Alan showing his bridge

Potty Training, Take 2

Image
Before we start "potty talking" I figured I would share this with you. I forgot to post it earlier lol! Oops! Anyways, it was Teacher Appreciation Week last week and well, Alan has two pretty amazing preschool teachers. :) I planned on getting them both maybe a card and some candy? But my best mom friend Kelsie texted me with her Teacher Appreciation plans. She invited me over to do some adorable chalk art with the boys! :) So cute, thanks Kelsie for the wonderful idea! We played in their new backyard too, while Kelsie set up her new flower garden. It was so darn nice out and they have a HUGE backyard! Oh I cannot wait for homeownership! :D Anna chased the boys around some and did some exploring on her own. Her buddy, Karter, was napping for the day but she did get a chance to play with all of his toys lol! She loved playing in their watertable. I loved that it was nice enough out to let her! Diversity's Dance Recital and Dominic's Birthday Party

Image
This weekend was also full of dance recitals and birthday parties lol. Its funny how the month of May is usually always like that. :P But this time around it was Aunt April's Diversity Dance Studio recital and Alan's school friend Dominic's third birthday party. It was a lot of work for this mama lol, but a good Saturday for us overall! Dominic's party was actually at the YMCA. Dom's mom works with me there as well. I think I may be having Alan's party this year at the Y as well, but I haven't fully made up my mind yet. The party was a blast though! It was one of my tumble parties, the kids had a great time! Alan loved running all over with Dominic and his older brother. He always has so much energy lol. :) Anna tried to keep up with them, but after a bit she just started doing her own thing. Silly girl! Anna about to shoot a hoop Alan as the King of the World lol Alan and Anna went on the zipline maybe a billion times. Dang my monkey kids love

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all of my mama readers and bloggers! I love you all and am so thankful for all of you! Being a mother can be a blessing at times, but other times it is very hard... having other mothers there to support you and share with your struggles, is a blessing in disguise. <3 You are all such wonderful mothers too, you inspire me everyday to be a better mom for my own kids. Hope all of your days are amazing! We are pretty broke trying to get this new place and living seperatley right now, so we didn't do anything special for Mother's Day. I only really needed to spend the day with my beautiful family and that's exactly what I got! I spent the whole day with my kids and most of the day with Lon, it was wonderful! :) I love you Alan, Anna and Lon! Both kids made me gifts from their schools and daycare. It was so sweet! Especially to get something from the little miss! I expected Alan's preschool to make something (they always do holiday projects the

Anna Ariel: 22 Months Old

Miss Anna is only two months away from being two now and this past month she has grown up so much! She is now potty training, is off the binky during the daytime and is trying new things everyday! I honestly can believe that she is the age she is now, she acts like a darn two year old already! Happy 22 months Anna Ariel! We love you so much sweet girl! I don't know where we would be without you! Life definitely wouldn't be comlete without you brightening up our lives everyday! :) At 22 months, Anna Ariel: *weighs approximitely 24 1/2 pounds and is roughly 35 inches tall. I will get more accurate measurements soon. *is officially in 24M and 2T clothing. She is also now in size 4 diapers at NIGHT only and is in size 2T pullups for potty training during the day! :D She still wears size 6 for her shoes and I can't seem to get her to wear any other pairs of new shoes. Anna on the swing, she's so brave now! Anna at one of big brother's soccer games, trying

Belated Birthday Wishes to My Siblings...

Image
Its a good thing that my siblings don't read our blog consistently, or base of relationship on what I post on here lol... because I am WAY behind on posting about their birthdays on here. I posted a photo on FB and IG for them on their actual birthdays. And Aunt Natalie we called. We took Uncle Kalvin out to Chuck E. Cheese for his birthday. We still owe him a trip to Bricks and Mini-Figs though, that's what he really wanted lol. :P Happy birthday guys! My mom and sister were still in Seattle at Velocity, so just the kids and I took Uncle Kalvin to Chuck's. I took them after my dance showcase. We ordered pizza and a salad bar, the service was okay. Definitely no where near as good as what Natalie and I used to do, but okay for sure. :) The kids ate quickly so they could play. Uncle Kalvin and Alan played together a bit, and Anna played with Alan some too. Uncle Kalvin and Alan playing air hockey Alan and Anna on the motorcycle together We didn't have cake t

The 2nd Annual Spring Dance Showcase

Image
I had my spring showcase this past weekend. It was the YMCA's second annual showcase, this time the ballet classes joined up with us! We had 5 classes, 31 kids and eight dances total. It was quite the little recital! One of our dance teachers was retiring, so I had all of her students sign a card and we gave her flowers. I am very proud of all of my kids for doing their best and making this recital amazing! We had a weekend full of practice, team building and performances! We started out the weekend with four hours of dress rehearsal. I helped for the whole rehearsal, but each class only came for 45 minutes. Each class rehearsed the finale with the other class for 15 minutes then worked on their own dances for the other half hour. I loved helping at the rehearsal, I know most of the girls in the dance program, through subbing and them being in other programs with me. I love them all so much! Its great to get to work with all the students, not just my own kids. Plus they were
