Five Question Friday!! February 1, 2013
Good afternoon everyone! I hope that all of you got a chance to read my earlier post about Wear Red Day for Heart Awareness! We are all wearing our red here at Free Range Family! I hope that you are too! We do not have much planned today. Just our usual 15 minutes outside play while Anna naps (in the snow, yes!) and I have a tumbling birthday party tonight at work. This weekend is pretty unplanned as well. I think that maybe the SuperBowel is this weekend? Or is that next weekend lol? We do not watch football here, so I have no idea! :P I am determined to meet up with my friend Kelsie and her son Kelton this weekend. She is due to have her baby very soon, I want to get the boys out doing something fun before she is homebound for a bit! Other than that, we might go visit the grandparents. Not too much this weekend, but its my first weekend off in a while! I will take that over anything!
Here is the second Five Question Friday post of 2013! Enjoy!
What is your favorite book to read with your kids?
Oh this is a good one! Ironically, the book that I love to read to my kids the most is the same book that my mother loved to read to my siblings and I when we were younger. It is Love You Forever by Robert Munsch.
I'll love you forever
I'll love you for always
As long as I'm living
My baby you'll be
I know that some people find this book very creepy (including the gal I got my picture from lol) but I love it so much! I cannot say that I would crawl into my children's rooms like that, but I do get the point very much so.
My children will always be my children, no matter their ages. I will always love them unconditionally and help them with anything. I will always check on them when they are sleeping and worry too much about them. I will always insist that they dress warm and eat well. I will always nag them about keeping their rooms clean and get their schoolwork done. I will be that annoying mom because I love them. I will always be a part of my child's lives, no matter their ages.
After having kids, what body part has changed the most?
My stomach area lol. Even though my belly never seemed to get very big with either pregnancy, it changed the most because of stretch marks and such. I have since then, gotten my prepregnancy figure back, but my stomach will always look different. And I am okay with that, because without them I would not have my wonderful children. :)
Would you ever go back to college? What would you study?
Even though I would just love to, at this point in my life it would not be feasible for me to go to college at all. I already have the position (art education) I was going to school for. I guess if I actually went to college for it, I would make more money. But I do not have the money or time to go right now.
However if I did go back to college, I would want to study developmental psychology. I took a few classes the first time I went to college for my education course, and I was just fascinated. I have always liked psychology but something about how children develop is very interesting to me!
How do you close a phone call? Bye, bye bye or other?
Lol this is a very silly question. I am not totally sure but I believe I just say the usual "Goodbye" or "Bye." But who knows maybe after living with kids for 3+ years, I could probably say "Bye, bye" like a little kid lol! It could be very possible!
What is the one food that will always be your "cheat food" on a diet?
I do not personally believe in diets, I think you should eat what you want in moderation. We do try to eat healthy, but I have always hated the idea of diets. People let them consume their lives and yet they lose very little weight. Live life happy and just eat smart lol!
Okay, there was my five cents on that whole thing! :P
