Five Question Friday!! May 13, 2011

Happy Friday everyone! Today was a beautiful day outside, a balmy 62 degrees lol. :) We didn't have a lot of time to spend outdoors, but we spent ten minutes before work out on the porch and out in the front yard. And some tulips bloomed in the planter by the porch! Alan thought they were "soooooo peety" lol. :) Then I worked from two to six at a super slow Child Watch. Alan got to see his best friend Korbin, and they caused terror around the daycare. :)

As some of you may have noticed, I am missing my last two posts from yesterday on here. This is because they were removed by Blogger during the shutdown (though I do not understand why) and for some reason, were not put back. :\ I hope this does not continue to happen. Has anyone else experienced this????

I work most of Saturday, and then Sunday is our traditional Family Day. As for now, here's Five Question Friday!

Tube socks, calf socks, crew, ankle, none?
Ankle socks if I have to wear some. Otherwise I prefer barefoot or in sandals. I'm a hippie, hello??? :P

Was your childs (children's) name a mutual decision or was it a debate? If you don't have children, do you plan on giving your spouse a say, or do you have a name you MUST have, regardless if your other half likes it or not?!
Alan Mikael was mutual. Alan was originally to be named Wayne (read about it here) but after he was born, he looked nothing like a Wayne. So for the first two days, Lon and I discussed just about every name combination before settling on Alan Mikael.

For our next however, I'm pretty set on Deklan for a boy or Aleeka for a girl. But of course, these could change when the baby is born. :)

What is your favorite type of weather?
I really like weather like we had today- low 60s, slight breeze, sunshine- the perfect spring day.

If left to your own devices, what time would you wake up every day?
Hahaha 2 pm or possibly 4 or 5 pm I could be Rip van Winkle if I was allowed to.

Have you bought your cemetery plots yet?
Well considering my husband is 23 and I am only 21, no we have not lol. We have no reason to even start thinking about our death and funeral plannings. The furthest we have gone in that area is to decide who would take care of Alan if we both passed. But I haven't even begun to think if I would want to be buried or cemated. I think buried, but definitely not in a cemetary. Maybe in the woods someone. Do they allow that??? :P

  1. Ha I just stumbled across your blog, and I like the theme! (I'm still missing some posts too by the way, you're not alone.)

Ha and I agree with most of your answers! Barefoot for sure (I'm also a hippie), low 60's slight breeze is perfect, and my boyfriend (might as well say husband) and I are 26 and 27, and have decided to get cremated, but whoever goes first has to keep the ashes of the other safe until they go, and then combine them and spread them together.

    Great post!
